Rider Support

The club will provide financial support to help cover costs of travelling to and from the Isle of Man for competition. See below some key details on the support given

​

• To be eligible, you must be a fully paid up member of the club. We would appreciate it if you are consistent at paying your subs year to year, and not just the day before your trip!

• The standard club contribution is £75 per trip, if you are wearing club kit during competition. This lowers to £25 if you are wearing other kit. We aren't fussy on what generation of kit you are wearing, as long as its Wheelers!

• We appreciate it if you give the club a cheeky mention in any social media posts on the trip.

• You must be taking part in a competitive event to be eligible. This means generally sportives and the like arent eligble, however exceptions can be made for Gran Fondo worlds and similar. If you have an event which you are unsure of, please just ask!

• UK based road racing - Both BC and TLI

• British Marathon MTB Champs

• Gravel Races

• Criterium Racing 

• Track Racing

The club is keen to support riders, so if you have an event coming up that doesnt quite fit into any of the buckets mentioned above, just give us a shout and we will see what we can do!
